The Fracture axis

Every state between intact and dissected, in one variable font. The axis is eased: the incision resists, then gives way.

INCISION
Design information

It began as the hand of a registrar: upright, patient, institutional. Then every letter was opened along a single line, and set back slightly wrong.

Ossivigil Anatomical is drawn tall and narrow, with sharp contrast, articulated serifs and incised terminals. It holds the composure of a ledger kept by candlelight in a ward that appears on no plan.

Each glyph carries one incision. In the Regular it is closed, a scar you only notice up close. The Fractured and Dissected styles open it: the upper fragment lifts and drifts off its axis, like a bone that healed in the wrong place.

Three incisions are drawn for every letter. Contextual alternates rotate them, so repeated letters never break the same way twice.
